Mission Outreach

Pardeeville United Methodist Church serves the community and world in many ways. Through mission outreach, we are able to connect with local, national and international organizations to provide for various needs affecting people of all walks of life. Below are some of the ways we are active so that others might know the loving kindness of Jesus Christ. Choose one or a few to support as your heart leads you to serve.

Local

Many families are struggling…They have to decide to pay bills, buy food, cloth their loved ones or make sure their youngest has diapers and wipes. This organization takes care of one of their stressors by providing the needed diapers and wipes. Further, this organization covers them in love through prayer.

A food pantry located in Wyocena, their mission is to alleviate hunger, malnutrition and the stress that accompanies poverty by helping needy persons meet their basic food requirements.

Our volunteers help to make sure Meals On Wheels are distributed, seniors have a place for and create meaningful connections for all seniors to enrich their lives.

We partner with this organization to provide things for struggling families throughout the year. Whether it’s gifts at Christmas time, or supplies during the summer months, we support children and families in Columbia County.

Meals Made With Love

Have you experienced a loss? Are you recovering from surgery? Are you on the mend from being sick? Are you just so busy, you don’t have time? Meals Made with Love wants to help you alleviate the stress of making a meal when you are faced with situations as described above or other situations in your life that makes making a meal difficult. There is a group of dedicated volunteers who make home made meals to be given to anyone in need. If you are in need or you know of someone in need of a fresh homemade meal, please contact the office so that these meals can provide relief but most importantly LOVE.

State & Nation

Located in Sullivan, WI, a week-long VBS camp for youth and young adults with special needs and their families, volunteers help to make this time enjoyable and meaningful for those attending.

An organization that creates warm hugs for children patients at local hospitals with our lovingly created fleece blankets.

When natural disasters strike anywhere in this country, we respond through giving, providing flood buckets, and volunteers. 100% of all giving goes directly to the needs of the community in need.

International

A group of able-bodied men and women go to help another church in the repairing and restoring of a local church. This group also takes time to fellowship with local families and provide gifts to the children.

Heifer International supports smallholder farmers to sustainably address hunger and poverty in their communities while caring for the Earth. We have raised money to buy livestock such as pigs, chicks, rabbits and other farm animals.

If you are interested in participating in any of these awesome opportunities, contact Rev. Dan Verdegan. You can also support financially through VANCO.
